Hayley orrantia was born in the United States. She's primarily an actor, however she is also a songwriter and singer. One of her most well-known roles is Erica Goldberg who stars in "The Goldbergs," the comedy television show. But, she is mostly a musician. According her, is the first thing she enjoys. She began playing with the instrument at the age of nine. At the age of 12 years old, music was serious enough for her to begin professional training. The year 2013 saw her take the plunge into songwriting and made her first album. From that moment on she's never looked back. Orrantia was raised in the USA, yet is of Hispanic origins. Although she never lived or was a Spanish speaker in Mexico However, she is strongly proud of her Hispanic culture. Her aim is to preserve it through the creation of Spanish songs and studying the Spanish language. One of her songs was a Spanish song called 'Hasta Verte.' The summer of 2011, Orrantia auditioned for the debut season of The X Factor. Her YouTube video was picked and she was awarded four "yeses" (or votes), from the judges at The Seattle audition. Her initial audition was for solo performance, but during the "Hollywood week" she was paired together with three female singers to form a trio during the remaining auditions. They were eliminated during the fifth week in the live show.
