Lisa Olivia Munn was conceived in Oklahoma City. Kimberly Schmid was born in Vietnam and has Chinese heritage, yet her father Winston Barrett Munn comes from the Southern part of the family. Olivia's parents divorced at the age of 2. She was raised by her mother who was in the United States Air Force, and also her stepfather. They left Oklahoma, and lived in different locations, however she spent most of her time in Tokyo. During this time, she appeared in various local theater productions, and then became a model in the Japanese fashion business. Olivia has relocated with her family to Los Angeles in order to fulfil her dream to be an actress, continued to work towards her goal after the family moved back to America. She began her acting career by playing a minor role. Then, her career took off when she was cast in the role of Mily Acuna on the Hawaii-lensed television show Beyond the Break (2006). In 2007, she played Rob Schneider's Receptionist. She is the host of "The Daily Nut" and"Formula D" on G4 "Formula D" Podcasts on G4. The passion she has for surfing is something she's continued since the 2006 TV series Beyond the Break. Additionally, she holds a black belt in taekwondo. Her mother got married at the age of two years old to an Air Force officer. The majority of her childhood was spent in Tokyo, Japan where her stepfather was a member. University of Oklahoma. Majored in and minored in Japanese and Dramatic Arts.
