Lita Ford and Francia Raisa
Lita Rossana Ford was a British-born American guitarist, vocalist as well as songwriter. In the latter part of the 70s, she was the lead guitarist for the hard-rocking all-girl group The Runaways. While the group did not achieve much success in America, they were hugely popular overseas. This was especially true in Japan. Ford launched a solo heavy-metal career following the split from her band in 1979. Following vocal training, she launched her debut solo album, 'Out for Blood'. This was followed by the release of her second album, 'Dancin on the Edge'. Ford was absent from the scene for several years after both albums failed to become popular. It was 1988 when she debuted her most successful album "Lita". Kiss Me Deadly (single) and Close My Eyes Forever (ballad) were her most popular hits. The success of her was not long-lasting and, for a few more years, she disappeared. She re-emerged when she released 'Black' in 1995 and 'Wicked Wonderland about 15 years later. Her most recent album "Time Capsule," launched in 2016. She was awarded The Certified Guitar Legend Award by the Guitar Player Magazine.
