Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise is a popular American singer, writer and actress, best known for her portrayal of Ginger Grant in the 1960s television show Gilligan's Island. Her stage career began in the mid 1950s when she appeared in Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. After that, she acted on Broadway for a number of performances until 1957 in which Li'l abner was big in the National Theatre. She released her album It's too late for Tina the following year. Louise debuted on the screen in Hollywood in God's Little Acre, a film which was made in 1958. She was Griselda the main character of the film. In New York, Louise enrolled in Actors Studio and began her friendship with Lee Strasberg. The actress joined CBS in 1964, to play Ginger Grant. Louise had a long and successful career that combines Broadway television and Hollywood as well as portraying a more serious, as opposed to the glamour doll image she was perceived. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The SG-1 series, as well as Helen Magnus on Sanctuary. Recently, she's also become a popular director for well-known TV series like Supernatural and The 100. Her family moved out of Essex to Toronto, where she spent her childhood and teenage years. When she was selected in 1997 for the role of Samantha Carter she settled down in Vancouver and has lived there ever since.
