Ina-Garten

Ina Garten is an acclaimed American cookbook author as well as an Emmy award-winning host of Food Networks current oldest show Barefoot Contessa which began in 2002 and aired 27 seasons until 2020. Ina Garten started her professional career at the White House where she wrote the nuclear energy policy and budget documents. She initially found her career to be intellectually stimulating, however she soon lost interest, and opened a grocery store that was called Barefoot Contessa. It took her 18 years to make the shop hugely successful, and then decided to sell the store. After that, she started writing one of her cookbooks. Others followed, and so were magazine articles. Another success was her Food Network Television show. In addition, she sells a variety of products ranging from cooking supplies as well as storage containers and equipment. Ina she is a self-taught cook she has never attended an institution for cooking or a hotel. Her name is associated with her casual way of creating and entertaining. The most well-known recipes she has created are Skillet-Roasted lemon chicken, Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac & Cheese Beef Bouguignon and balsamic-roasted Brussels Sprouts & Lemon Bars.
